New Hope has been caring for the DeKalb community for decades. We welcome you to explore our resources and events for children, families, college students and all community members.
Food Pantry
The New Hope Food Pantry is open on Mondays from 4 to 6 p.m. All are welcome to pick up groceries and essential hygiene products.
Education Scholarship
The Nevaeh Mitchell Scholarship is available to students pursuing a trade or their college education. It allows us to support their hard work and dedication while keeping Nevaeh’s memory alive.
Events
We offer a variety of events throughout the year, including those focused on health/wellness, education, community-building and other areas.
Some highlights include:
Community Wellness Series: This event series focuses on a new wellness topic on the first Wednesday of the month.
Back to School Bash: This family event provides school supplies to children in our community
Juneteenth Community Celebration: This annual event commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S.
